Full steam ahead, late nights vibe coding new features, multiple shows a week at amazing venues and events in NYC. A project that is sparking joy and wonder and is extremely fun to interact with. To see ideas come to life in real time is nothing short of magic.

I’m currently working with a dear friend on a project of his that is this beautiful combination of art and the future of real time emergent graphics on a live stage - something that only AI could do. Because of the nature of vibe coding without a ton of guardrails the tension between new features and stability is showing itself.

I’m coming in as a “vibe doctor”, essentially bringing my experience of internet scale applications to this one. The codebase needs some TLC, proper production ready structure and consistency to keep the vibes going. Structured instructions for the agents to fall into and guardrails to keep things stable while being able to expand.

Something that I am absolutely loving in this agentic world is to hear and see how many people are full on building. The viewpoint of digital products as art I feel is something that is being taken up in a very sincere way. My friend’s project being a great example, we can build things and it no longer has to immediately be a company or bust, non-programmers can and are building personal tools, scratching their own itch - what a beautiful gift!

Over time as we build, LLMs typically make a series of disjointed decisions that compound, they create a lot of tech debt. The vibes get thrown off, every new feature breaks 2 others.

This is where I am coming in, getting the vibes back on track.

Once a proof of concept has been proven out and some sort of PMF has been found, I feel more poised than ever to be able to offer my deep expertise architecting systems, setting up enterprise grade systems and getting products ready for proper production.

This isn’t to replace the person who is full steam ahead, instead it’s to amplify them. To be a force multiplier through 2 primary lanes:

  1. Keeping them vibing as a solo founder through increasing stability, observability and agentic consistency.
  2. Getting the codebase in a place where they can bring on a team and stop being the primary developer.

If you’re full steam ahead but feel like things aren’t like they were when you started and momentum is slowing down, reach out!
